Difficulty 1-5 (Spirituality): 1 - Fundamental
Κυκεών is the name of the potion (drink) that the initiates drank in the Greek Mystery Schools in antiquity before entering an altered state of consciousness in which they were able to transcend the limitations of space and time, and experience death and rebirth. Although those rites were totally secret (protected by death sentence), the radical experiences they made therein have participated in laying the foundations of the entire modern civilization (according to Cicero, more later).
Into Form and Out
I am using the word Kykon as a synonym for the awareness that in our essence we are beyond time, beyond ephemerality, beyond the limitations of the space around us. But we have a task for which we are here, in these very limitations.
When we came from our original Oneness with all Being into form as a Human personality living in time and space, we came for a reason that is not always easy to decipher and understand. This publication wants to help, serving with what helped me myself on this journey
Modern Mystery Schools
Particularly, I will gradually post what moves me about the way how the “Mystery School”, after having emerged in different ways and cultures throughout the millennia, may want to manifest in our days. You could say: A draft of modern Mystery Schools. In those posts I will cover these topics:
What is Mystery School at all?

Why do we need Mystery Schools in our time and how would they possibly look like?
How will they be different than their historic counterparts in view of our current placement in the development of human consciousness, considering Memes (Spiral Dynamics), Levels, Lines and States of consciousness (Integral Theory)
Why do I believe they are crucial for the survival of our planet and our species.
In order to bring those contents together to a more systematic overall picture of the topic I will soon create a “table of content” that links all the posts into an structured text which may be published as a book in the future.
