Difficulty 1-5 (Spirituality): 1 - Fundamental
A very brief and simple intro - when people for example in Ancient Greece saw that something is going wrong with the world (wars, famines…), they understood that this is going to be changed only through they themselves being transformed - transformed into oneness with the God’s (may be we would say today with the Universe). Often it was a spiritual Elite that would prepare for weeks with a Shaman or spiritual guide and then gather in the temple of the God (Archetype) the quality of whom they felt to need to merge. They entered into altered States of Consciousness, often induced by psychedelic substances.
This picture was taken after a deep energetic merging with the Mystery schools in Giza, Egypt, the oldest one’s we know of who probably date back to a time before what we all the great deluge as there are archeological proves that make us date those before. This may be a reason that they could mysteriously re-appear in so many cultures in a similar way - I’ll talk about this in a alter post.
At the same time, this is the place, where we inherited the word “orgy” from. As they were experiencing Oneness with the cosmos (vertically) they also experienced oneness with the other manifestations of human life (horizontally) - the bodies of their co-humans. Entering into physical and sexual interaction in an altered state of consciousness where no longer mind control out of ego purpose (and at times doubts) rule, but a communal surrender into the stream of life, is indeed very different from what we commonly know as “sex”.
Although of course the visible manifestation of the practice of “Mystery Schools” varied, we do have a consistent regularity in ancient high cultures of such rites with the typical characteristics:
Long and often grueling phase of preparation of the initiates
Absolute secrecy (often protected by death sentence)
Deep entrance (not just insight) into the mystery behind all life
Tremendous influence on the whole of their civilization
Often psychedelic substances and erotic practices

I was in a mystery school years ago and I went deep into my spirituality. It was Egyptian in its framework it was also exciting discovering new things all the time. I managed to get myself to a high level where I performed amazing healings on individuals. When we started as a planet to raise our frequency and change our vibration my connection was severed. The leading spirit of this school was Thoth and I considered him a friend. But spirit had different plans for me. I could no longer communicate with him he turned his back on me. I soon discovered that Thoth was very duplicitive a no goodnick under the cover of being a nice and helpful guy. He was responsible for many of the ancient disasters and wide spread death of countless. So I'm studying now with a seer and master and I'm very content.
